Problem / Challenge.
DLL is one of the global leaders in asset finance enabling businesses with more than 50 years of experience in the market; they provide partners with the equipment and technology necessary to help them grow. The evolution of the asset finance market and the opening of new selling channels demanded a fast-moving update in their technology development and design, to provide the global partners with a robust and modern all-in-one finance software solution.
The challenge was to update the system with a user-friendly, scalable, and responsive user interfaces layout adding abundant new features as well as creating new user journeys and improving the already existing ones.
Yes, we solved it right!
Using a User-Centered Design approach, we got started in the process of understanding the system’s different contexts of use by conducting interviews, flow maps, benchmarking, and the analysis of existing user research data. Then we moved into the ideation, wireframing, and prototyping phases, iterating the designs in an Agile environment with constant communication with all the respective stakeholders.
The outcome.
We designed a fully responsive, simplified platform that provides an enhanced user experience for the finance partners with centralized access to their most frequently used features as well as straightforward and consistent flows, behaviors, and patterns along the whole user journey and entire business lifecycle including the recently created self-service capabilities.
